We have provided answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our chauffeur service. If you have any other questions please dont hesitate to contact us by phone or email.
- Where do I meet my driver when I arrive at the airport?
- Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals area, with your name & company clearly displayed on a board. If we have difficulty finding you and you have provided your mobile number we will try to contact you. Please carry our phone number so you can ring us if you have a problem.
- Will you meet us any time of the day or night?
- Yes, we provide a 24 hour service if the journey is pre booked 24 hours in advance.
- If my flight is delayed will I pay extra?
- If your flight is delayed we will be aware of this as we check your flight regularly and inform the driver. Once your plane lands the price quoted includes the first 60 minutes waiting time for you to get to the arrivals area. After this 60 minutes you will be charged £5 for each period of 15 minutes.
- Do I have to pay the airport parking charge?
- No, the price quoted for a collection from an airport is included.
- If my meeting runs over time will I be charged extra?
- Yes, you will be charged £5 for each period of 15 minutes the driver is waiting.
- If travelling to London, is the congestion charge included in the price?
- Yes, all prices quoted will include the congestion charge.
- Do I get confirmation of my booking?
- All bookings are confirmed by the following: In writing to an email address given or by sms to a mobile telephone.
- What is your cancellation policy for a refund?
- 24 hours notice must be given to cancel a booking and a full refund will be given (unless a deposit was pre-arranged. No refund will be given if less than 24 hours notice given or client is not at specified collection point.
- How far in advance must I book my car?
- All bookings must be made 24 hours in advance. For urgent bookings, less than 24 hours notice please contact us directly by telephone to check availability.
- How do I pay?
- We accept the following:
Cash to the driver.
All major credit/debit cards (in advance at time of booking, money will not be taken from your account until day of travel.
Cheques accepted from pre-approved account customers only (10% admin costs incurred).
- Are drivers CRB checked?
- All the drivers that chauffeur for Destiny Executive Cars are fully CRB checked, with an Enhanced Disclosure, licensed to carry minors under 16 years of age. Destiny Executive Cars are regulated by South Cambridgeshire District Council.
